Introduction If you need to figure out whether a DR Series radiant tube heater has a bad gas valve, the process is straightforward when you use the right tools and check both power and gas flow. The key is not guessing. You want to confirm whether the valve is actually being energized and whether gas […]

Introduction If a radiant tube heater is not starting, the first thing to confirm is simple: is the heater actually getting a call for heat? That check matters because it tells you where to focus your troubleshooting. If the call for heat is present, the issue is likely inside the heater. If it is not, […]

Introduction Before starting up a radiant tube heater, one of the most important checks is gas pressure. If the inlet pressure or manifold pressure is off, the heater may not operate the way it should. That can lead to poor performance, ignition problems, and unnecessary troubleshooting later. This walkthrough covers how to check inlet gas […]

Introduction Low voltage thermostat wiring sounds simple until you realize one big thing: most modern thermostats are digital, and digital thermostats need constant power. That means if you rely on batteries alone, you could lose heat at the worst time, like over a weekend when nobody is around to notice the battery warning. A […]
